Hi All,

I just moved up to Brattleboro, VT and miss my former MD climbing life. I'm in search of anything... places to go, people to go with, information on nearby rock or gyms-- hoping i get some kinda help :)

Climb on,
lindsey

I'm not sure where Battleboro is situated in vermont, but i do know of 2 gyms there. Google these...

Petra Cliffs
The Wall

I am not sure where the first one is located but i know the second one is in Quechee. Also, in Rumney is in New Hampshire. I have been going there every day of the summer for many years, and i live all the way in MA.

I'll post more info when i think of it. Good luck.

there's a gym in Brattleboro that just opened... I really don't know anything about it, but here's the website: http://www.woodmanathletics.com/ (the site is under construction, so there isn't much info there). I'm from the area and would totally climb with you.... if I wasn't in college in MA... *sigh*
Hope you find something!

your reply!

sadly, this website did nothin' for me... rockclimbing.com was my lifeline. There remains to be nothing in brattleboro. There's a gym in northampton which I've gone to a few times and I met up with a fabulous guy who was also in need of a partner and we climbed a good bit during the summer and fall outdoors in MA and NH. If you're in the area nd want to head down to teh gym with me let me know!! Brattleboro hungers for climbing- there isn't much here and it makes me sad. Western MA has some good outdoor spots and I'm happy to give you the lowdown if you want to get into more detail, but honestly, surf on over to rockclimbing.com. Its where I got my beta and my partners- and its worth a hell of a lot more than this site .

climbing

Hello, I just moved to Brattleboro and am an avid climber. Have you had any luck finding a partner? Would you be interested in going climbing sometime? Soon?
